We walk without eyes
For animals wired in fields
yet we seek freedom
A blind wind blowing
Into our unseeing eyes
We are wilderness
I wake in my grave
Of today we rise and set
for our sun our land
Home long abandoned
Vivid days of sky and land
Hunts smoke smells laughter
She lifts her sad clouds
Out of the sky for sunshine
Her golden body
Could sky be lower
Clouds in my hair my body
Nothing but shadow
Climbing birdsong hill
Rain sky brightened by blossom
Those trees holding me
